Nator for Slack
Nator is a conversational AI agent for teams that run work in NatorOS. In Slack, it answers questions, turns conversations into tasks, posts workflow updates, requests approvals, and keeps an auditable trail of what happened.
What it solves
Message Nator directly or mention it in a channel. It can use permitted NatorOS workspace context and connected systems to answer with links, caveats, and next actions.
When a workflow needs human judgment, Nator posts the relevant context and approval controls in Slack, then records the decision back to NatorOS.
Nator can create tasks, summarize threads, route follow-ups, and post workflow results so the team can move from discussion to execution.
Permissions, audit logs, approvals, and model/tool limits remain managed in NatorOS even when the conversation starts in Slack.
Setup
Use a NatorOS owner or admin account for the workspace where the Slack app should be connected.
Click Add to Slack. NatorOS sends you through Slack OAuth so you can choose the Slack workspace and review requested permissions.
Use the Nator app DM, mention @Nator in channels where it has been invited, or run /nator to ask a question or start a workflow.
Nator is a conversational AI agent. AI-generated responses, summaries, suggested tasks, and workflow outputs may be incomplete or inaccurate. Users should review important outputs before relying on them, especially for operational, customer-facing, financial, legal, or security-sensitive decisions.
Some AI agent experiences in Slack may require a paid Slack plan. Core NatorOS workflow notifications and approval messages are designed to work through the installed Slack app where Slack permits the underlying app features.
